A lovely red fox I’ve recently finished. This fox was sadly found in someone’s back garden already dead. We reckon it died of an infection coming from one of its toes. This fox will eventually be a handling specimen for Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry. There are wires coming out of the legs as it’ll be secured in place. #taxidermy #fox #naturalhistory

Finally delighted to tell you my taxidermy crows are in The Reluctant Vampire shown on BBC1 Series 1 Episode 4. 27:06 I preserved these crows a year ago for the show as props to then have some visual effects added over the top and used as they are. The cloak and hat on the crows was added on for the show. It’s so nice to see my work to be used like this. Also want to add the filming is also located at Woodchester Mansion which is very close to where I live. It’s great that it’s so local. And they have real life lesser and greater horseshoe bats roosting in the mansion. Also if you have enquired about my beginner taxidermy courses, I will be in touch early next week with further details, rest assured I will go down the list as a first come first serve basis.
