Here is An official update on Detroit's hidden flower garden at Vassar & Bentler! Griffin Gardens is fully blooming, and since the first post went viral, the energy here has completely intensified. We are uncovering layers to this land that go way deeper than the surface. This block sits directly on the historic grounds of Waawiiyaataanong—the home of the Three Fires Confederacy. What the Griffin family is doing right here is directly carrying on the distinct lineage of these grounds. Between the community market representing the Odawa trade, the flowers bringing the medicinal Ojibwe energy, and the neighbor across the street naturally keeping the Potawatomi fire alive with his bonfires, the ancient blueprint of this land is officially active again. The first bet was: I bet you didn’t know Detroit had a hidden flower garden. Since y'all flooded the comments buying into that, it’s time to flip the bet. The new challenge is: I bet you won't pull up to Griffin Gardens, show your face on camera, and tag us to prove you caught these healing vibes in person. Let’s see who is really tapping into this abundance! #GriffinGardens #DetroitHistory #Waawiiyaataanong #LineageReturn #HealingJourney

"They say the best food starts with the best energy. 🌿 Today, I’m at Griffin Gardens in Northwest Detroit, taking a second to ground and literally hug the trees. Most people see flowers and think 'decoration,' but flowers are the recruiters for the whole ecosystem. No pollination, no food. 🦋 Marilyn Griffin has built a sanctuary here that respects the soil as its own living entity. Whether it's the flowers for the soul or the garden producing food for the community, it’s all connected to the same source. If you want to understand the 'Metro Detroit Eats' brand, you have to understand the Detroit soil. 🌻✨ #GriffinGardens #metroDetroitEats #Grounding #SoilHealth #UrbanFarm"
