That doesn’t mean every child with ADHD has an airway issue, and it doesn’t mean airway treatment replaces an ADHD evaluation. But I do believe sleep and breathing deserve a seat at the table. At SOCO, airway screening is part of how we look at the whole child, not just the teeth. When baby teeth are crowded, it often tells us the jaws don’t have enough room for the larger adult teeth coming in. Instead of waiting until all the permanent teeth erupt, we used a Myobrace to help guide healthier muscle function and support natural jaw development. As the jaws grew, something amazing happened—spacing developed between the baby teeth.
