Reasons why you should consider being a Gel nail tech 🌟🌟 I currently use only #polygel on my clients. Here are some reasons I chose gel over acrylic ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I am home based and when I first started practicing doing nails I used acrylic and the smell from the monomer would stay in my apartment for days. My family would complain. I found it a lot easier to manipulate the product. Polygel will only become hard after placing it under a UV lamp to cure. With acrylic, It only gives you a few secs to get the application flawless. The health of your nails depends on your nail tech and your self-care of your nails. But many of my clients who have switched over from acrylic have noticed an improvement in their natural nail health. My clients who are prone to breaking their nails have expressed receiving little to no damage to their natural nails compared to when they had acrylic nails. I have no shade to throw toward nail techs who have chosen to work with acrylic, but I do recommend considering using polygel. Especially for beginners who are practicing. Will be offering Polygel Classes soon ✨✨ #nycnailtech
