From 27th to 29th October 2026, our Acting Secretary General, @@Ibrahimsolutionkoroma, participated in a three-day workshop on the Development and Validation of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Materials on Transactional Sex, Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Services, and Uptake of Family Planning. The workshop was held at the Christian Health Association of Sierra Leone (CHASL) Hall, Freetown, and organised by the Teenage Pregnancy Secretariat with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). During the three-day engagement, Ibrahim actively participated in discussions, group activities, and the validation process, contributing perspectives while learning from the experiences and insights of other participants. The workshop provided an opportunity to deepen understanding of SRHR issues, examine the realities surrounding transactional sex, and explore effective ways of making health-related information accessible, accurate, inclusive, and youth-friendly. As a youth-led media and advocacy organisation, LYDIA Network recognises the importance of informed conversations, effective communication, and evidence-based advocacy in addressing issues affecting adolescents and young people. We remain committed to amplifying voices, promoting awareness, and contributing to initiatives that advance the health, rights, protection, and well-being of young people. Welcome to November, the 11th month of the year. Eleven months down, and one month left before we turn another chapter. November is a reminder that we are closer to the finish line, but the journey isn’t over yet. Don’t give up on yourself, your dreams, your plans, or the prayers you’ve been holding on to.
