Today we’re looking back on our friend @Sabine McCalla performing “The More Loving One.” This one was filmed on Sabine’s back porch one night in New Orleans. Sabine said that this was one of the first songs she’d ever written, and that it’s based on a poem by WH Auden. Auden’s poem goes as follows: “Looking up at the stars, I know quite well That, for all they care, I can go to hell, But on earth indifference is the least We have to dread from man or beast. How should we like it were stars to burn With a passion for us we could not return? If equal affection cannot be, Let the more loving one be me. Admirer as I think I am Of stars that do not give a damn, I cannot, now I see them, say I missed one terribly all day. Were all stars to disappear or die, I should learn to look at an empty sky And feel its total dark sublime, Though this might take me a little time.” If you enjoyed this clip, be sure to follow Sabine to stay up-to-date on where she’s performing and where she’ll be. Whether it’s making music or being a part of Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners,” Sabine is always up to something great. You can also watch this full video at the link in our bio. Today we’ve got a fun one for y’all. Here’s a clip of James Taylor and Oscar the grouch singing a duet performance of “Your Grouchy Face,” which sounds eerily similar to James Taylor’s 1970 classic “Your Smiling Face.” Mr. Taylor made several appearances on Sesame Street in the late 70s and early 80s, but this is my personal favorite segment. If you could pick any musician to duet with anyone from Sesame Street, what combo are you choosing? Special thank you to our Patreon supporters for keeping us rolling. - Nick @ Gems

We got a new one out with our friends @dug_world playing their song “Have At It!” This video was filmed this past Spring, while our director @TheAnthonySimpkins was spending some time with the duo as they toured around Ireland. “Have At It!” is actually the title track of their upcoming album, which is available to pre-save now wherever you find yourself streaming music. If you’re like us, you can’t enough of these guys’ music, so it’s always a good day when we get to show y’all another video from them. Be sure to check out the link in our bio for the full performance. For those of you in the Nashville area, next month, DUG will be performing in Nashville as a part of Americanfest, so don’t miss an opportunity to see them live. Also, we may or may not be putting on our own Americanafest show as well (we are, stay tuned). Hope y’all enjoy! Special thanks to our Patreon supporters for keeping us going. - Nick @ Gems
