Welsh Section B Chestnut Mare 14 years 12.2hh / 127cm Show quality mare Forward, intelligent, pretty A beautiful, experienced Welsh Section B with a proven history. Matilda is a much-loved 14-year-old Welsh Section B mare who has been a very special part of our family. She has been shown successfully throughout her life, including qualifying for STARS at Aintree, and most importantly, she has taught my own daughter to ride. She is an intelligent, forward-thinking and beautifully presented pony with a huge amount of experience behind her. She has been enjoyed both in the show ring and as a family pony and is now looking for her next special home. Under saddle: • Shown successfully throughout her life • Qualified for STARS at Aintree • Good on the lead rein and ridden independently • Hacks in company and will happily go alone with an adult on the ground. • Experienced in different environments • Beautiful jumper for a confident rider. • Canters independently • Enjoys working at liberty and is clicker trained. Matilda is a versatile pony who has experience carrying both lead-rein and independent riders. She is forward and intelligent, so we feel she would be best suited to a confident child with supportive parents rather than a complete novice rider. Easy to do: • Loads onto both a trailer and lorry • Happy living in a herd or individual paddock • Picks up all four feet • Excellent for the dentist and requires no sedation • Straightforward with normal day-to-day care • Vaccinations and worming up to date • No known health issues Matilda is by Eyarth Rio, giving her a lovely Welsh pedigree to complement her proven ability and showing history. She is not being advertised as a project. She is an established, experienced family pony who has been there, done it and has years of experience behind her. She has been a very special part of our family and, as such, finding the right home is extremely important to us. We are looking for a knowledgeable, caring home where she can continue to be enjoyed and appreciated for everything she has to offer. Serious enquiries welcome. Videos and further information available. Mid fours. Derbyshire #pony #mare
