Some Disney days are packed with rope drop plans and perfect timing… and some start with errands, running behind, and walking into Magic Kingdom a little later than planned. But honestly? Those end up being some of my favorite days. ✨🏰 It was HOT when we got there, but thankfully the lines weren’t too bad, which made the whole afternoon feel extra magical and relaxed. We kicked things off with a little parent swap adventure at TRON. While my husband rode first, I took the boys on some classic Tomorrowland favorites — Carousel of Progress and the PeopleMover. And honestly, those slow sweet rides with my boys are the kind of Disney moments I hold onto forever. 💙 Then came the BIG moment of the day… For the very first time ever, my oldest was finally tall enough to ride TRON. 🥹✨ And y’all… he was SO brave. I expected nerves and second thoughts, but he surprised us all. He acted so mature and fearless riding such a big coaster, and the second it was over he was already asking to go again. Seeing his confidence grow right before my eyes was one of those proud mama moments I never want to forget. Of course, bravery deserves a reward… so we celebrated with ice cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. 🍦 And can we talk about how HUGE their portions are for the price?! Disney magic AND a bargain? We love to see it. After that, we wandered into Memento Mori by Haunted Mansion and found what might just be the tiniest Hidden Mickey in all of Walt Disney World — literally needing a magnifying glass to spot it. 🔍🐭 Disney Imagineers truly think of everything. Then it was time for Big Thunder Mountain, and it was our first ride since the refurbishment reopened! The updates were so good, and it was really exciting getting glimpses of all the progress happening for Cars Land and Villains Land. The parks are always changing, and somehow that makes every trip feel brand new again. 🤎⛰️ As the evening settled in, we grabbed our packed dinners and sat together on the porch by the Trading Post while waiting for the nighttime parade. Unfortunately, the parade ended up canceled because of weather… but honestly, that just meant extra cuddles, an easier bedtime, and ending the day on a calm note instead of exhausted chaos. 🌧️✨ There were laughs, pin trading, rides, sticky ice cream hands, and so many little magical moments in between. But more than anything, there was family time. The kind that fills your heart so completely you wish you could bottle it up forever. One day my boys will be bigger, taller, and maybe too cool for matching Disney days with mom and dad. But for now, I get these moments. 🎣💙 The second I saw the Goofy’s Gone Fishin’ sipper at EPCOT, I knew I had to have it. ✨ A Goofy Movie has been my favorite movie ever since I was a kid. It’s more than just a Disney movie to me—it reminds me of my dad, who passed away a few years ago.
