for those who may not know, i have mad history with tally hall (so i am very familiar with this album) and do like to revisit their stuff every once in a while. i honestly still have a ton of love for this album despite not listening to this kinda music much anymore. i think it’s a really fun yet well made album. i love the transitions between each song (esp welcome to tally hall -> taken for a ride), i think they allow for really different sounding songs to blend together pretty well. the album itself is really theatrical which i feel like makes it a tough album to recommend if you’re not into that sort of thing, but it definitely is worth a listen i’d say. it takes you for quite a trip in terms of range as a lot of songs differ from one another quite a bit. i’m not huge on some of the songs on the sillier side, some just aren’t great in my opinion. also not a big fan of just apathy, the lyrics feel a little corny to me. but for what it is, it’s still an enjoyable album. undeniably extremely white but still fire Maybe im a bit biased #tallyhall #marvinsmarvelousmechanicalmuseum #albumreview #music #charisincorrect

i’ve been getting into femtanyl recently and saw that they dropped this album and decided to give it a listen. i was really excited for this album as soon as i heard the first song because i felt the beat n overall sound was really cool. i sort of feel like a lot of the rest of the album was not as individual sounding? the last few songs did a good job of that but the ones in the middle i wasn’t super fond of. this stuff definitely sounds a lot more machine girl-y especially in the vocals, which i did like. cool transition between two of the songs as well. it’s a good album, i may need to listen to it more to get more used to it but for now it’s not blowing me away (beyond the first and last songs). but if you’re into loud heavy fast music this is pretty solid. also sorry forgot the collage for this one 💔💔 #femtanyl #manbitesdog #albumreview #music #charisincorrect

OKAY i know i just reviewed a blur album not long ago but the wheel wants what it wants. i love this album so much. the switches in tone this album goes through in the first half is enough to give one whiplash yet it works? it gives us crazy loud songs cushioned between beautiful softer ones which keeps it interesting in my opinion. the whole album manages to share this deep melancholy feeling or something regardless of the tone of the song (maybe minus like B.L.U.R.E.M.I). it’s almost haunting. and given the content of the lyrics and the context of the band at the time it makes sense. they convey devastation in many different ways in this album and they do it really well. it’s really beautiful in my opinion. definitely an experience all the way through. really great album i definitely recommend #blur #13 #albumreview #music #charisincorrect
