This series is going to be called; “Behind the scenes as an Audio Engineer”. 🎶 . We kicked things off by ensuring proper speaker placement for optimal coverage and clarity. . Next was stage setup, carefully positioning the drums and instruments for both performance flow and sound balance. . After that, we moved into patching, connecting and verifying all necessary gear—making sure nothing was left unpatched or out of order. . Then came speaker tuning, where the array was tuned to match the environment and support an excellent production outcome. . Following that, we ran a line check to confirm all patches were clean, organized, and functioning correctly. . Once everything checked out, we proceeded to soundcheck with the band. This is where the mix comes alive—ensuring every musician could hear themselves comfortably through their IEMs(In-Ear Monitor) and monitor wedges. During this stage, I handled: • Gain structuring • EQ( Equalization) • Compression • Gating • Effects leveling • Panning .
