Seeing people act all weird AF & picking apart @meghan (I missed the memo when it became a sport 🤷🏾‍♀️) even bringing up her @lecreuset as if we don’t rock with it. I thought I’d take a moment to show off my #LeCreuset collection I started in my 20’s, will have to do another post how I clean them because YIKES! My Love affair with Le Creuset started when I saw the iconic red pots on The Cosby Show. I wrote an essay about it for the 85th anniversary & LC sent me their largest piece a goose pot I named Elvis as a thank you & yes I named ALL my pots after film stars from the Golden Age, since I started my collection while I was still an actress (like Meghan… we can do more than one thing 😜) Some pieces I got shipped from all over France, South Africa & Japan that were vintage or limited edition colors, in fact I ran a Le Creuset Facebook group for years advocating for more colors especially pink & now you can find all sorts of pink 🎀 The world is really dark & chaotic right now. While I understand she may not be everyone’s “cup of tea” I’m grateful she dusted off her #TheTig apron & got back to doing what she loves spreading a little joy… with love 💝 First one to guess closest to the number of my collection wins this awesome wine set 🫶🏾 #ChefLife #SingleSeRVing #LeCreuset #MeghanSussex #MeghanMarkle #WithLove #AsEver #BlackGirlsRockWithLeCreuset #CapCut @Le Creuset @Princess Meghan @Netflix

I often get asked why don’t I compete in food competition shows? #Haitians aren’t exactly encouraged to play with our food so my conditioning runs deep. Seeing how much food waste goes into an episode running against a clock to be judged on in front of the world spikes my anxiety to unmanageable levels. So here’s a #throwback to the one out of 3 times I appeared on a #food #competition show & in this episode of #FoodFighters with @Adam Richman on @nbc… I did it for the culture 👊🏾💥✊🏾♥️ *I do not own this footage. It belongs to #NBC & the production company* #TBT #Haitian #Italian #Meatballs #Meatball #Italy #Ratatouille #Throwback #Haiti #HaitianPride #HaitianExcellence #HaitianFood #haitiantiktok #haitianfoodcontent #haitianfoodsogoodhaiti #haitiancomedy #haitiangirl #foodcompetition #FoodFight

#ThrowbackThursday one of my greatest honors was not only being welcomed into the STUNNING home of a woman I have looked up to for nearly my entire life who has done an impeccable job representing our #Haitian culture to the world as our reigning #Queen for literally decades but also having the opportunity to cook for & feed this icon while allowing me to be a part of this massive moment for her to use her platform to educate not only her cast mates but also the world watching a bit about our history & culture. @GARCELLE BEAUVAIS is the embodiment of beauty, brains, bravery, resilience, grace & strength. She has been in the entertainment industry since she was a teenager, grew up & raised a family before our eyes while stepping into many roles & dominating as a model, actress, host, entrepreneur & advocate. I know there are so many people to look up to & for many reasons why but to have this level of consistency of a black woman achieving greatness defying all odds for this many years especially in a world right now of rewarding people failing upwards, there has been no greater gift to the people of #Haiti than having #Garcelle leading the way showing us how it can be done. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Garcelle for literally everything. LOVE you ♥️ *side note I didn’t know when this episode would air & then while I was in Hawaii for my birthday 2 years ago my phone blew up with what I thought were birthday messages but nope… it was from people watching the show & this went on for WEEKS too. I didn’t quite grasp at the time what a juggernaut this series is around the world, I was just stoked to finally cook for her, which made me admire her more for taking the risk to vulnerably put herself out there sharing so many aspects of her life… what an absolute force AND the dinner went off without a hitch. Not a single fight, table flip nor a prosthetic leg slammed in the middle of the table 😅 #Grateful #ChefLife #PrivateChef #SingleSeRVing #Catering #Haitian #HaitianWomen #HaitianTikTok #HaitianTikTok509 #HaitianComedy #Kreyol #HaitianFood #HaitianPRIDE #HaitianExcellence #RealHousewives #RealHousewivesOfBeverlyHills #RHOBH #TBT #BeverlyHills #BlackGirlMagic #Chef #GarcelleBeauvais #Garcelle #LisaRinna #Dorit #SuttonStracke #ErikaJayne #KyleRichards #CrystalKungMinkoff
