Multimillionaire Dan Henry explains why selling a $100 product to someone broke is harder than selling $10,000 to someone rich.  The broke buyer shows up with endless questions, while the rich buyer just sends the money. He lived in his car for three years, built one of the most famous jewelry brands on the planet, and then had the government take everything he owned on a single day. Jesper Nielsen grew up in Denmark with nothing. Went bankrupt in his twenties. Borrowed his father’s car and drove to Germany to sell jewelry in a country where he did not speak the language. Store by store. City by city. Until Pandora became a $20 billion global brand in 6,000 malls worldwide. Two days after the IPO, the tax authorities showed up and seized everything. He spent six years fighting back. On October 4th, 2018, the Supreme Court ruled in his favor. He won it all back. In this conversation, Jesper breaks down: – How he spotted 88% profit margins in jewelry before anyone else did – The private equity deal where a whistleblower revealed he had been cheated out of millions – What it felt like the day the government took his cars, boats, bank accounts, and shares – How he built the resources to fund a six-year Supreme Court battle from zero – Why at 57 he believes the biggest thing he has ever done has not happened yet Never give up. Jesper Nielsen has proved that statement true more than once. 🎥 Watch the full episode on YouTube: Search “School of Hard Knocks Podcast Jesper Nielsen”
