Only a few more Sundays to get Tiramisano at the Parker Farmers Market, which runs Sundays until Halloween. Tiramisano makes egg-free tiramisu from scratch and sells it out of coolers on ice on Mainstreet in downtown Parker. The flavors rotate, and they post each weekend's lineup on @tiramisano, so check there for this Sunday's. They sell out, so go early. Parker Farmers Market, 19565 Mainstreet, Parker. Sundays 8am to 1pm, free to walk. Send this to whoever you're going with Sunday. @tiramisano #parkercolorado #douglascountycolorado #coloradofoodie

One of the newest hikes near Denver just opened in Castle Rock. Golden Eagle Loop is one of the last two trails finished at Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space, and we had company up there: two mule deer bucks bedded down in the shade. It's high, open slickrock with limited shade, and the road up to it looks down on the fall color along Willow Creek right now. Comment HIKE and I'll send you the full trail guide: every trail with distance, elevation and shade, plus parking and hours.
