We were lucky enough to sit down with Heather and hear her incredible story. 🌊 After being diagnosed with hydrocephalus and fitted with a VP shunt, followed by a series of strokes, a friend invited her cold water swimming off one of Anglesey’s stunning beaches. It didn’t take long before she was hooked — and now she swims all year round. Heather says cold water therapy has been hugely beneficial, both physically and mentally. And when you live somewhere like Anglesey, why wouldn’t you make the most of it? For those who don’t have the sea on their doorstep (or want to enjoy the benefits year-round), our EIRA Ice Bath offers a consistent 3°C — rain or shine. ❄️ Big shoutout to Phil Video for capturing Heather’s journey so beautifully. 🎥 #ConceptSpa #ColdWaterTherapy #HydrocephalusAwareness #EIRAIceBath #Anglesey #OpenWaterSwimming #ColdPlunge #EIRA #IceBath #MentalHealthAwareness #WellnessJourney #NorthWales #OutdoorRecovery #YearRoundWellness #ColdWaterHealing #WomenWhoSwim #PhilVideo #ColdPlunge #EiraTherapy #TraethBuchan #angleseywales
