Here’s 4 things I believe all quarterbacks should be focusing on thier training 1. Rotational Power 2. Lateral Strength & Power 3. Getting Strong via Foundational Movment Patterns (Push, Pull, Squat, Hinge, Carry) 4. Prioritize Exercises that Promote Free Motion of the Scapula & Upward Rotation #footballtraining #footballplayer #highschoolfootball #quarterback #quarterbacktraining

1. Sled Resisted Sprints: Force application must be highly specific to the mechanics and demands of sprinting. IMO sled resisted sprints are one of the BEST tools to accomplish this. We will use anywhere from 69-91% of the athletes BW on the sled. 2. Hill Sprints: Hill sprints will help you run in the correct form of acceleration and improve force application with each foot strike. 3. Max-Effort Sprints with Complete Recovery: To run fast you need to do just that, run fast. Sprint intensity should be 95%+ on each sprint if you’re trying to get faster. Additionally, you need to be recovering fully following each sprint! Rest 60 sec. every 10 yards covered. #nfl #footballtraining #nflfootball #footballplayer #40yarddash

1. Hill Sprints Hill sprints will help you run in the correct form of acceleration and improve force application with each foot strike. 2. Heavy Sled Drags Allow you to learn and practice acceleration mechanics at slower speeds. To perform these exercises properly you need to posses a good forward body lean, and maintain a positive shin angle. 3. Dynamic Skips Skips are one of the BEST ways to improve knee drive, dynamic ankle stability, arm drive, posture, ground contact time, and rhythm - many factors that contribute to fast and explosive athletes. 4. Flying Sprints Great drill for developing max-velocity with athletes. This drill teaches athlete to go faster and maintain maximal speed for a longer duration. 5. Here’s 3 guaranteed methods you can add to your training to get STRONGER! #strengthtraining #strength #strengthandconditioning #strengthcoach #exercises

1. Medball Throws Medicine ball throws develop explosive power by training athletes to produce high amounts of force in a short amount of time. They improve the ability to coordinate the lower body, core, and upper body to transfer force efficiently. 2. Dynamic Effort Method The dynamic effort method develops power by having athletes move submaximal loads as explosively as possible. It emphasizes the ability to produce force quickly, improving rate of force development (RFD). 3. Loaded (Explosive) Jumps Loaded jumps develop power by combining explosive jumping movements with external resistance. They challenge athletes to produce force rapidly while maintaining high movement velocity, helping improve the relationship between force production and speed. 4. Plyometric (Elastic) Jumps Plyometrics develop power by utilizing the stretch-shortening cycle, which allows muscles and tendons to rapidly absorb force and then produce force during an explosive movement. They improve reactive strength, rate of force development, and the ability to transition quickly from landing to takeoff. These adaptations can help athletes improve sprint speed, jumping performance, and change-of-direction ability. #athlete #powertraining #jumptraining #explosive #training
