🚨 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝟮 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗘. 🚨 We have less than 48 hours to make our $15,000 lawsuit payment, and so far, we’ve raised less than $8,000. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped us, but the reality is that 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Our dogs have nowhere else to go. Many have been with us for years, and losing our facility would put their lives and safety at risk. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲. A generous donor has offered a $𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗, meaning every donation right now will be doubled, up to $5,000. We are doing absolutely everything we can to keep our dogs safe, but we cannot do this without your help. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗦 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹. On October 22nd, we have our final Health Department appointment for our new sanctuary, which means we will no longer have a landlord. We are so close to finally building a permanent home for our dogs, where they will never have to face this uncertainty again. But first, we have to get through these next two days. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.. While her body is now fully healed from her surgery, she’s still with us, at the rescue.. Alexis is back to the senior girl we know so well. She’s happy, sweet, and always looking for love. And now… she’s back to waiting. Waiting for someone to finally give her the forever home she deserves. It’s not easy to place a dog like Alexis; no small animals, and she would do best with a well-balanced large breed male, but we refuse to believe her person isn’t out there. Because Alexis is truly such a sweet girl. She deserves more than a kennel. She deserves a couch, a family, and a place to finally call home. If you can’t foster or adopt, please consider donating toward her care. Every bit truly helps us continue fighting for dogs like Alexis.
