If your arms are creating the golf swing, your sequence may already be out. The two balls make this much easier to see. The lower ball represents the pelvis. The upper ball represents the torso. When the movement is sequenced correctly, the pelvis leads, the torso responds, and that speed can transfer through to the arms and club. You’re not trying to swing the club harder with your arms. You’re trying to create the movement that allows the arms and club to follow. If your swing feels handsy, disconnected or like you have to force speed, this is exactly the kind of sequencing we look at in a GRF lesson.

Most golfers are told to “use the ground” — but what are you actually supposed to feel? This drill gives you the answer. The towel teaches you how to shift and load the lead side. The pressure dome teaches you how to push back through the heel and release that energy. Shift. Push. Squash. Get the sequence right and the club can freewheel — creating speed without forcing it. Try this next time you’re at the range. 🏌️‍♂️
