This is way outside of my comfort zone, but something I wanted to get off my chest. I lost a piece of my heart last week. I wanted to open up and share my grief in case anyone else out there might be going through the same thing. You’re not alone. We’ll take things one day at a time and we’re going to be okay 🤍 Luna was found on one of my Dad’s old construction sites. The workers got an animal trap and managed to catch her, but suddenly no one knew what to do next. My Dad immediately brought her back home. She was very shy at first and unsure of her new surroundings. I sat in our backyard for an hour waiting for her to get comfortable enough to approach me. And once she did we knew she was home. Luna was the first dog I had that actually played fetch. I used to joke and say that she thought we were gods because we were Luna’s whole world. She didn’t know anything else and she didn’t need anything else. Life was good. My dogs are everything to me. They were there for me when no one else was. They were there for me in my darkest times. For that, I am forever grateful for their unconditional love and loyalty. Luna, thank you for keeping my throwing arm in shape, scratching outside my room to force me out of bed, and for the endless kisses. let’s talk about it.. 👀 sometimes its about finding the right fit Not every groomer is going to be the right fit for every dog, and that’s okay! As groomers, we’re allowed to have boundaries and recognize when a dog or situation might be outside of what we’re comfortable working with. Knowing your limits doesn’t make you a bad groomer. And as pet parents, you’re allowed to trust your gut too. If you don’t feel completely comfortable with how your dog is being cared for, or feel like your dog might do better with someone else, it’s okay to try a different groomer.
