Mike Beck: The Voice of the Californio 🎶 I am excited to share the spirit of old California with you! So I am giving away a ticket to see this incredible singer-songwriter live at Bauhr Ranch in Chinese Camp, CA (between Oakdale, Jamestown and Groveland) on Saturday, May 10th! Mike Beck's music celebrates the heart of old California, its horsemanship, stockmanship, and craftsmanship – values we at Buckaroo Logic aim to preserve and share. This is a Facebook and Instagram exclusive giveaway, so if you want to participate then we suggest you follow the meta accounts! Also, this is more for my California followers, as you will have to find your own way there. Mind-blowing Assateague fact! 🤯 The Maryland side (National Park Service) and Virginia side (privately owned by the fire dept) are divided by a fence. The Virginia side is where the iconic pony swim happens! Maryland's horse management is just population control. Meanwhile, Virginia does it all: once a year or emergency vet checks, seasonal breeding, microchipping, and pedigree tracking with the microchip, creating a legit breed. They only desensitize the horses to be familiar with people so buyers at the post-swim auction can fully train their coastal Mustangs. Virginia maintains a 120-horse herd with a buy-back program. Maryland? Just population control by giving the mares birth control. Thus helping the mares with the stress of foaling and island from having more stallion fights. #Buckaroologic #cowboycontroversy #cowboyhatcontroversy #mustangs #islandhorses #cowboys #horses #Assateague #western #cowboyup #horsegirl #ranchpony #westernfashion #western #country #south #dirtysouth #rodeo #horsebreed #Eastcoastmustangs #chincoteague #chincoteaguepony #pony #ranching #saltwatercowboys #ponyswim #Assateagueisland #Vaquero #horseman #equine #cowboyup #Maryland #Virginia #foryoupage #foryou #Pov #mustangmakeover

The cities make the laws, the rest provide the food. Not everyone here is a blue hair fruit and nut. Most of us still value our original cowboy traditions. #Buckaroologic #Buckaroo #Cowboycontroversy #California #CaliforniaAg #CA #Cowboy #Californiovaquero #Californio #Buckaroo #Mulepacking #Mountains #Californiaranching #Horses #Cattle #Ranchlife #Outfitting #holyfreakingairball #mustangmakeover #Pov #foryou #politics #SaveCalifornia #cowboyheritage #cowboyhistory #Californiahistory
