You really get an arm workout with this one. I'm using Smooth-On Cast Onyx Fast here, since I wanted its better physical and thermal properties. These are relatively thin walled casts and I didn't want them to bend/warp during shipping. But generally you can use pretty much any quick-setting resin for this (or longer-setting if you actually want a workout). The key is just multiple thin layers to distribute the material evenly. @Smooth-On, Inc. has specific formulations (I think 65D and 57D) that feature a more gradual curing profile (it gels slowly instead of kicking) which they recommend for slush or roto casting. And indeed the are easier if you're okay with (or need something) semi-rigid. But this technique can be used pretty universally with a little practice.
