God is good—even when your circumstances aren’t. 🤍 I know that’s easier to say when life is going well. But what about when you’ve prayed and nothing changed? When the relationship ended. When the door stayed closed. When the diagnosis came. When the person you love didn’t come back. When the dream you prayed for still hasn’t happened. That’s when your faith gets real. Because it’s easy to believe God is good when you’re receiving what you asked Him for. But can you believe He’s good when His answer doesn’t look like what you wanted? Psalm 119:68 says: “You are good, and what you do is good.” Notice what this means: God’s goodness isn’t determined by my circumstances. His character doesn’t change because my life hurts. I may not understand what He’s doing. I may not understand why He’s allowing it. I may even have days when I don’t feel His goodness. But I can choose to anchor myself in what I KNOW about Him rather than what I FEEL about my circumstances. God is good. God is trustworthy. God is still God. So if you’re walking through something today that doesn’t make sense, you don’t have to pretend it doesn’t hurt. Bring God the tears. Bring Him the questions. Bring Him the disappointment. And then whisper: “Father, I don’t understand this… but I still choose to trust You.” That’s faith.
