When we started homeschooling, I wanted a dedicated space for it.. but we didn’t have an extra room. We could’ve used the dining room table, but I wanted somewhere we could go in the morning and feel like, “Okay, this is where we do school.” And one thing about me# is I will make a little corner work. 😂 I have a corner in my bedroom where I take Zoom calls for work and another corner where I film content. So I thought, why couldn’t I turn a corner of my son’s room into our little classroom? I wasn’t sure how he’d feel about it, but he absolutely loves it. And so do I. This is an old dining room table we had sitting in the garage that we were going to get rid of. The white shelf was one we already owned, and I got 20 of these educational posters for $10. And after a whole lot of research, I picked out his kindergarten curriculums. I love all the interactive activies that ours include. (Our math curriculum is linked here) He goes to a co-op three days a week, and the other two days, we’re right here in our little corner. So here’s your reminder.. you don’t need an entire extra room to create a space you love. Sometimes a corner, a wall, and a few things you already have are enough. 💛
