Here’s a quick towing safety tip: Make sure your tongue weight hits that 10-15% range of your Gross Trailer Weight (GTW). If your truck’s ratings allow it, aim closer to 12-15%. Keeping the tongue a little heavier provides much better stability against trailer sway. Take a few seconds to check your Weigh Safe scale, get dialed in, and tow responsibly this summer. 🤝 #towing #drivingtips #towingsafety

The catch? Most people have no idea what their tongue weight actually is, unless they drive to a commercial scale. That’s where the @weighsafe Hitch comes in. It has a built in scale that measures tongue weight, making this hack completely effortless: 1. Do the quick math: Calculate 10-15% of the total trailer weight 2. Watch the gauge: Keep an eye on the needle as your load your cargo 3. Adjust on the fly: Shift weight forward or back so the needle lands right in that 10-15% sweet spot. No guessing. No CAT scale runs. Just instant peace of mind before you hit the highway 🛣️ 📌 Save this post for your next haul! #towingsafety #weighsafehitches #trucklife #safetyhacks
