Went climbing in Montana - started out as a bluebird day for 5 pitches of the most perfect limestone. But within seconds, a storm rolled in on our descent, almost leaving us stranded on the wall. The updraft was so violet we couldn’t throw the rope down for our rappels. 10/10 would still recommend the wall though, it’s incredible ! #montana #rockclimb #multipitchclimbing #granolatok #stormseason

Climbing The Hulk in the Sierras — shot on 35mm 🎞️ Deep in the Eastern Sierra, tucked above Little Slide Canyon, sits one of the most striking alpine walls in California — The Hulk. 1,200 feet of clean, golden granite at nearly 12,000 feet, hours from the nearest trailhead, with no easy way in and no easy way out. We packed film cameras instead of just digital for this one. There's something about shooting an objective like this on 35mm — the weight of every frame, the not-knowing until it's developed, the grain and light matching the rawness of the place itself. No screen to check. No instant gratification. Just trust in the process, same as the climbing. The approach alone is a mission — miles of talus, a river crossing, a steep climber's trail gaining thousands of feet before you even touch rock. Then the wall itself: sustained, exposed, technical granite that doesn't let up for pitch after pitch.
