🚢 Mistakes I Made on Vacation as a Craft Business Owner 😅 Y'all... I had an AMAZING time, but whew... I definitely need a vacation from my vacation! 😂 As I reflected on the trip, I realized I made a few business mistakes that I won't make next time. ✨ Mistake 1: I didn't advertise my business. I should've worn one of my branded shirts, carried my custom tumbler, or even had business cards with me. You never know who you'll meet while traveling! ✨ Mistake 2: I didn't capture enough content. I was so busy enjoying the moment that I forgot people LOVE seeing the behind-the-scenes. I could've recorded clips, taken more photos, and created content for weeks. ✨ Mistake 3: I didn't network. There were so many opportunities to connect with other business owners and potential customers, but I stayed in vacation mode. ✨ Mistake 4: I didn't prepare my audience enough. Next time, I'll schedule more posts before I leave so my business is still active while I'm away. ✨ Mistake 5: I didn't look for inspiration. Every place you visit has ideas—from colors and designs to customer service and marketing. I missed some opportunities to take notes and bring fresh ideas back to Vision Tees and Things.
