Another massive weighted hike in the books! 🥾 Today I knocked out 18 miles from Sandwich to Dover, ticking off another chunk of my 150-mile goal for Help for Heroes this July. I had some brilliant company in the form of my cousin, whom I might have convinced that this was just a "small hike" to get him to join me. 😅 Honestly, he was an absolute trooper. Despite wearing the wrong shoes, battling blisters, and rolling his ankle on the shingle only four miles in, he stuck it out until the end. I’d say there was a little bit of whinging, but he powered through like a champ! We spent the whole day "character building" (which is code for relentlessly picking on each other), but we were right there supporting each other when it mattered most. Plus, the beers and ice cream we grabbed along the way went down an absolute treat. 🍺🍦 It was a day packed with laughs, some serious pain, and a mental challenge, but who doesn't love a bit of Type 2 fun? That’s what life is all about: facing those hurdles, pushing through to the other side, and saying: "F#ck you, life—I’m still here and I’m going strong." 💪 Onward to the next one! https://raise.ing/xz9jjony7rr61 #HelpForHeroes #Rucking #Type2Fun #HikingAdventures
