Sink or float! This is possibly the easiest/quickest tuff tray to set up with very minimal clean up! You can use any objects/resources that you already have. Divide the tuff tray into two halves … sink and float. Encourage the children to take it in turn and test the different objects to discover if they sink or if they float in the water! This tuff tray is a great sensory activity for younger babies… the paint provides fun and interesting visual while the bubble wrap ensures a fantastic sensory play experience… Make sure to face the bubbles downwards so that when the children press them they pop and spread the paint around… you can provide any tools that you have lying around but I find the cars work really nicely and are easiest to grip onto! Use anything that reflects the children’s interests! Have fun with this one and follow for more tuff trays by Kellie Browne #tufftray #tufftrays #tufftrayideas

BUTTERFLIES…. This is a pretty tuff tray! Provide the butterflies without their wings! Provide paint and encourage the children to use their handprints to create the wings! Use bright prime colours to help colour recognition (mathematics development) If working with younger babies you can use taste safe paints (examples in some of my previous videos) For older children you can provide extra resources to decorate… glitter, colouring pens, Pom-poms etc Have fun with this one and follow for more tuff trays by Kellie Browne #tufftray #tufftrays #tufftrayideas
