These kittens came to us when they were just a few weeks old. Mom was just supposed to be a TNR cat, but while she was having her spay surgery the doctor noted that she was actively nursing kittens. So instead of releasing her back to their farm, this kitty fam are now Happy Jack Cats intakes. Either this mama is ill, or she really would prefer to not be nursing and pottying five kittens. I've had to supplement their milk via syringe feeding. So it's big news when they start living independently, such as using the litter box. I hope they start eating food soon. They have been peeing in the litter box for almost a week. Maybe mom will be happier when she can stop eating their poop. Please spay or neuter every cat you feed by 5 months of age! #spayandneuter #foster #fosterkittens #poop #kittenrescue
