If you’re thinking about starting van life, moving somewhere new, or doing something outside your comfort zone, I promise you there is so much reward that comes from taking that first step !! I moved here alone, not knowing many people and honestly not knowing how it would all work out, but looking back now this little (big) van has given me some of the best memories I could’ve asked for. Post-work sea swims, sunsets outside my home, exploring the Cornish coastline, meeting new people and creating moments I never thought I’d experience. I now get to share these adventures online as my job, something which a few years ago I genuinely never thought was possible. Nearly 200,000 of you have followed along at some point, and I still wake up wondering why !! All I know is that this van has become one big memory bank, and I’m so grateful I get to share it with you guys. Life is way too short to keep waiting for the perfect time, so go explore that place you’ve always wanted to visit, watch that sunset, take that trip, or just say yes to something that scares you. We saw them!! Iceland involves A LOT of driving. Most of our favourite waterfalls, hikes and beaches were completely free, you just have to pay for parking! Supermarkets will save you a lot on food, but do try the bakeries! Get up early for the busiest spots. September weather changed constantly, so layers + waterproofs are a must.
