if you’re on the journey recovering from chronic symptoms this is your sign to not give up! you have no idea what’s around the corner, and from nearly giving up a year ago i have now been living a normal free life for months. full recovery could be just around the corner 🙏✨❤️ #chronicillnessrecovery #healingjourney #mecfsrecovery #mindbodyhealing #cfsrecovery

So far I have been discussing the big foundational shifts in understanding to realise the root cause of this illness and understand how healing is possible, brining awareness to your state and building the tools needed to bring safety to your body in various ways, as well as responding to symptoms. Now is the time to go deeper and more granular, to start to understand some of the symptoms you may be getting, especially ones that seem to be triggered ‘out of nowhere’. A lot of of the time we look for physical triggers and think ‘I just have overdone it’ or ‘I don’t have enough energy’, when actually a lot of the time triggers can be non physical, subconscious, and largely emotional. I found it important towards the end of my journey to start getting curious around triggers when symptoms arose to try and understand what my have been underneath the surface. I will talk about healing these triggers in a separate video, but the point of identifying them isn’t to avoid them but to heal them. The same goes for physical triggers, once we are aware of them we can start to embody safety and use visualisations techniques to go towards them with joy and ease to teach our body and brain that these activities are safe. This takes patience and is best to do once you have a full understanding of how you can embody safety and regulate. Please never push through symptoms without this. #mecfs #mecfsrecovery #chronicillnessrecovery #brainretraining #cfsrecovery
