New space. Fresh start. 🤍 So grateful for this new chapter and everything God is doing. ✨🙏🏽 #NewChapter #FreshStart #GodsPlan #GratefulHeart #NewBeginnings

Sometimes God gives you seasons of people, not permanent people. There are people you can love deeply, be grateful for, and still realize they’re not meant to walk with you into your next season. Sometimes God allows certain situations to happen so you can finally see what you couldn’t see before—the lack of support, the disrespect, and the things that were being taken for granted. And sometimes, you can give everything you have to someone and still walk away feeling used. That doesn’t mean everything they ever did for you was fake. It just means the season served its purpose. What’s crazy is that God will sometimes bring people back into your life that you thought were never supposed to be there again… only for you to realize there was a reason He allowed them back. Not everyone is meant to go where God is taking you. Some people are there to teach you. Some are there to grow you. Some are there for a season. And some are there to walk with you for a lifetime. I’m learning not to force people to stay in seasons God is asking me to outgrow. Sometimes letting go of people is part of getting closer to God. 🤍 And this season? I’m choosing growth, peace, discernment, and God. #GodsPlan #GodsTiming #FaithOverFear #SeasonOfGrowth #LetGoAndLetGod

Last night I got to talk with Lucy for a little while, and we spent some time reminiscing about Chloe. We shared pictures back and forth, laughed, and remembered all the ridiculous things this dog did. ❤️ Chloe was, without a doubt, the hardest, most stubborn, meanest, funniest dog we ever had. 😂 She could literally drive us absolutely BONKERS. And yet… she was ours. She was a protector. She loved my girls fiercely. And she was absolutely CRAZY when it came to them. I’ll never forget one time when I was picking the kids up from school. Chloe somehow jumped out of the car window—RIGHT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. 😳😂 She didn’t even care. She just wanted to go find her kids. I called Nick and said, “Go get your dog. I’m not going to go find her—I’m here picking up the kids from school!” 😂 That was Chloe. Completely nuts. Completely stubborn. And completely in love with those girls. She loved running away. We eventually stopped chasing her because we knew she’d get bored and eventually find her way home. She knew exactly where the food and beds were. 😂 She ran straight into monsoons like they didn’t exist. One time we left her in the backyard for a quick Culver’s drive-thru, and a monsoon rolled in. It was pouring rain, and that stubborn girl just sat there like, “So?” 😂 She once ran into the park, found a bratwurst, and proudly brought it home in her mouth—dropping it at our feet like she had just brought us a priceless gift. 😂 And people would come over wanting to love on her, and we’d have to say, “Please don’t touch her. She’ll bite you.” 😂 Lucy described her perfectly: she was our Marley & Me dog. Always something. Always an adventure. Always testing every ounce of our patience. But she was also our childhood dog. She was part of my girls’ childhood, part of our home, part of our everyday life for more than 11 years. And losing her has been so incredibly hard on all of us. I still can’t get the image and sound of what happened out of my head. I keep replaying it over and over. But last night, remembering her with Lucy, looking at old pictures, and laughing about all the crazy things she did brought a smile to my face. That’s how I want to remember her. Not just the way we lost her… but the stubborn, ridiculous, protective, hilarious little dog who drove us completely crazy and somehow became such a huge part of our family. God, I miss her. 💔🐾 And thank you. Truly. Thank you for every message, every text, every prayer, and every bit of love you’ve shown me and my family. It means more to me than you know. ❤️ #ChloeForever #DogMom #ChildhoodDog #ForeverLoved #RainbowBridge
