Aye so just to start this off being fully transparent, i can’t spell Guinea right 98% of the time without having to use spellcheck 😭 Annnnyyyyyway tho! You ever heard of a Guinea hen? Or Guinea fowl? It’s a bird I love to eat and I think it’s a cool ingredient to incorporate some new flavors into your culinary repertoire. More 🔜 come 🫶🏽 #capcut #wildgame #charleston #gullahgeechee #soulfood

Yard Herbs Pt 2!! Mock or false strawberries. They’re popping up everywhere in my yard and neighborhood. They ARE edible they just don’t taste like much, but i recommend grabbing some, washing them thoroughly and adding them to your seasonal strawberry jams and preserves. The leaves are great to make teas and poultices from them to aid in digestion, inflammation , and more. As always, i aint no doctor so take this advice with a grain of seasoning salt - til next time, yall boi hol em!! #foraging #charleston #gullahgeechee #chef #strawberries
