Some inspiration from the classics. Just turned my decks on and reached into the stash. Simple blends. The basics. Both of these gems are from 1997. •Industry Standard - Just the Way •Soul II Soul - Pleasure Dome (Booker T Dub) It feels too good when the chord stabs come in on the Booker T Dub. House & Garage is love. 🖤 Gonna try to upload more stuff like this from here on out. Bear with me as I’m just an old head 👴🏾 trynna figure out how to exist in this content era without it feeling forced. I just love music. 🐘 #vinylcollectionpost #vinyl #nowspinning #dancemusic #housemusic #housemusicdj #ukgarage #deephouse #undergroundmusic

I figured I’d reintroduce myself here if you’re new. OG friends, fam, and supporters know that I’m a teacher, but I felt it might be necessary to mention again to remind anyone out there with a 9-5 that you can do both. It’s tough for sure, but it’s doable, and in some ways gives you some power since you have another stream of income, allowing you say “no” to things that you aren’t feeling. This isn’t just about having a 9-5. I feel that anyone juggling multiple demanding hustles, hobbies, and passions can relate. Let me know if this resonates with you. What’s your day-to-day hustle look like? 🐘 Shout out to my guy @olea.sfv for pulling up to my school with me and helping me capture some things. 🔊: Jared Jackson - Believe (unreleased) #dj #producer #teacher #educator #housemusic
