#CafeandBakeryAwards The Highlander Café Bus has been named Best Community Café at The Scottish Cafe & Bakery Awards 2026, presented tonight in Glasgow! 🚌☕ What started as an old double-decker bus on Aberdeen Beach has become a little home for so many of you, from early-morning dog walkers and families to surfers, runners and everyone in between. This award belongs to you, our amazing community, and to our incredible team who show up every day, whatever the weather (and we all know what Aberdeen weather is like! 😅). Thank you for every coffee, every chat and every kind review. We couldn't have done it without you. ❤️ See you on the beach! 🌊 #TheHighlanderCafeBus #BestCommunityCafe #ScottishCafeAwards2026 #AberdeenBeach

🔥 ABERDEEN, YOU'VE KEPT US BUSY! ❤️ 300–400 customers a day, queues out the door and barely a second to catch our breath! 😂🚌 We haven't even had time to take photos ourselves, so we'll let the food do the talking! A huge thank you to everyone who came, waited patiently and showed so much love to the Highlander team. Your support means everything to us. ❤️ A little reminder for the next busy weekend… 😉👇 📋 The menu is displayed before you order! We have a big, versatile menu with options for every taste, so take a moment to read it. Your next favourite dish might be right there! 🍔 Our kitchen works from the menu, not with a magic wand! 🪄 Our till is set up to help the kitchen serve food as fast as possible, so we can't make modifications or items that aren't on the menu. If the options aren't for you, please don't order. 😂 This weekend's top questions: 🌭 Does the hot dog contain hot dog? We certainly hope so! 🍗 Does the Highlander chicken kebab contain chicken? Of course! 🍦 Does the ice cream contain fat? Yes, that's what makes it delicious! ☕ A "normal coffee"? Just pick one from the coffee menu and we'll happily make it! When the queue stretches outside, a little patience and kindness go a long way, and we'll always show you the same respect in return. ❤️ We know we can't please everyone, and that's okay. Aberdeen has plenty of great places, and we hope everyone finds one that suits their taste. We welcome honest feedback, but it isn't fair when some visit just to criticise, especially when the aim seems to be a bad review rather than a good meal. Thank you for making this weekend so special. You're the reason we keep going! See you next weekend, Aberdeen! 🍔🍟☕ @Samuel.TG.Explores
