This is the Biblical reason Protestants should become Catholics. 👀 Argument Explained Step-by-Step 👇🏼 1️⃣ Sacred Scripture is considered the inspired Word of God, as 2 Timothy 3:16 says “All Scripture is God-breathed[.]” 2️⃣ In John 20, Jesus says the following words to his apostles: “‘As the Father sent me, so I send you.’ And when he said this, he BREATHED on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.’” 3️⃣ Jesus, who is God, breathed His Spirit and authority onto the Apostles themselves. 4️⃣ The Acts of the Apostles (and Church history) testify to the fact that the Apostles handed on this gift of the Spirit to their successors through the laying on of hands, allowing there to be from generation to generation not only a handing on of the divinely-inspired Sacred Scriptures but also a handing on of a divinely-inspired teaching office that would teach the Scriptures with the authority of Christ. 5️⃣ This God-breathed (inspired) teaching office is the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. 6️⃣ If you believe Sacred Scripture is God-breathed, then you should believe the Apostles and their successors are God-breathed too. Catholics do NOT worship the Blessed Virgin Mary. 🛑 We worship God, the Blessed Trinity. And we honor Our Lady. In this video, I share two ways our worship of God is in practice different from our honoring of Our Lady. Is this helpful?
