Happy Allied Health Professions Day! Today, we’re celebrating occupational therapists and the difference they make to people’s lives every day. From helping people return to the activities that matter to them, to supporting prevention, rehabilitation and recovery, OTs make a vital contribution to health and care. This year’s theme, Celebrating AHPs Deliver, is also a reminder that our impact must be recognised in the decisions that shape the future of health and care. That’s why we’re proud to join fellow members of the Allied Health Professions Federation in calling for stronger AHP leadership as part of NHS reform. Occupational therapists need a voice in the decisions that shape services, support communities and improve people’s lives.
