✨ A huge thank you to Rays of Sunshine for making Teddy’s wish come true! ✨ We spent the most magical weekend at Chessington Safari Hotel 🦓🌍, followed the Christmas trail to meet the big man himself 🎅🎄, and Teddy’s absolute highlight… coming face-to-face with his favourite animals, the giraffes 🦒💛 It was a weekend full of joy, laughter, and dreams becoming reality. Today is Rare Disease Day a moment to shine a light on conditions many people never hear about, including retinoblastoma, the rare eye cancer that Teddy faced. Because it’s so rare, the early signs can easily be missed. A white glow in the pupil (especially in photos), a wandering or squinting eye, redness, swelling, or changes in how the eye looks or moves can all be signs that something isn’t right. Most of the time, these signs have simple explanations but sometimes they don’t. And that’s why awareness matters. If you ever notice something unusual in your child’s eyes, or you’re unsure about what you’re seeing, it’s always important to speak to a healthcare professional. Trusting your instincts and getting things checked early can make a life‑changing difference.
