I fear the amount of yap in me is simply too much for the length of videos I actually make. Should I try long form or just make lots of shorter videos 🤔 #travel #contentcreator
Ya girl worked a miracle ya’ll 🙌🏽. Decided 2 days before my trip that I wanted my hair braided and my girl had no availability. Lord knows I can’t do knotless on myself so I decided to finally try miracle knots. Took me FOREVER to get my parts straight, but 8/10 would recommend and try this style again. Have you tried this style yet? #travel #miracleknots #diyhair #vacationhair #blacktiktok

This week I had the chance to meet with Morris Chestnut and Malcolm D. Lee to chat about Sable Bourbon. We talked about business, bourbon, brotherhood, and what it means to build something meaningful with people you believe in. This creator journey has introduced me to people, places, and conversations I never would’ve experienced otherwise. Moments like this remind me to keep showing up, stay curious, and never stop betting on myself 👊🏽 #contentcreator #morrischestnut #opportunity #grateful #sablebourbon
✨ Be brave, take risks, nothing can substitute experience ✨ ✈️ I booked a last minute solo trip to Nicaragua and landed in the airport with ZERO plans… and somehow I ended up boarding down an active volcano. 🤯 Before going, I had no idea something this wild was even possible, but it’s one of those experiences I can still picture so vividly in my mind. 🏆 This is Cerro Negro, the youngest volcano in Central America, AND the only place in the world you can have this type of experience. 🌋 I ended up exploring five different volcanoes on this trip and each one was special in its own way. Nicaragua is a place filled with rich culture and unspoiled adventure, yet it’s somewhere I think a lot of people in the States still overlook. (I’ll get into that more in another post because I have lots of thoughts on this) 🫱🏻🫲🏽Experiences like this don’t just happen, they’re curated by locals to share their environment and bring people in to support the communities. You can tell how intentional every single part of this day was just in the way our itinerary was curated. 🔥 After flying down the volcano at 35 mph, we celebrated with roasted marshmallows at the bottom and then headed over to a farm to have dinner with a family nearby. Cherry on top fr because it felt like the perfect way to end our experience. 😌 And it reminded me that sometimes the places that aren’t the most talked about end up being the ones that have the biggest impact on you. Because in my mind if I can board down an active volcano in a moments notice, there’s literally nothing in this world I can’t do 💪🏽 LET’S CHAT: 👀 Have you ever had a travel experience push you outside of your comfort zone? #nicaragua #volcano #adventuretravel #bucketlist #cerronegro
❗️Know before you go: Greece The more I travel, the more I realize how much you can never truly know a place until you actually experience it. 🗺️ I spent almost a month in Greece, starting with an AdventureWEEK trip through the Peloponnese and then continuing on my own. I’m so thankful for them hosting me, because who knows if I would’ve had this same experience on my own. They truly took me beyond the typical tourist route and I got to spend time immersed in local communities, culture, and landscapes that gave me a real feel for Greece. ✍🏽If I was planning Greece all over again, these would be the first 5 things I wish I would’ve known beforehand. So if Greece is on your list, this one’s for you 🫶🏽 👀 If you found this helpful, please let me know and follow me for more travel tips and recommendations. #greecetravel #knowbeforeyougo #greece #visitgreece #visitpeloponnese
My dining recommendations for Virgin Voyages Brilliant Lady 😋⬇️ #ad 🍽 If you want bold flavors & memorable plates on @Virgin Voyages : 🌮 Pink Agave – Ate here twice because… self-control? Don’t know her. This spot was my favorite! Eat here for memorable, rich modern Mexican flavors in a gorgeous restaurant with immaculate vibes. 🍽 Rojo – Grab dinner here for bold flavor filled tapas that are worth every bite. They also serve a fantastic brunch here too. 🍖 If you’re craving comfort food or classics done right: 🍝 Extra Virgin – Pastas so good they’d make an Italian grandmother tear up. And make sure to try their desserts-an absolute must. 🥩 The Wake – This is the spot for people who love a good cut of meat. The steak, the lamb chops, and even the bread will have you dancing at the table! Also a great spot for brunch. 🔥 If you want something interactive or adventurous: 🥢 Gunbae – Korean BBQ + drinking games = you WILL make friends here. And you will leave FULL. I loved the tabletop cooking concept! 🧪 Test Kitchen – The “wait… what is THAT?” restaurant where you’re guaranteed to try something you’ve never had before. It’s experimental, it’s fun, and it will definitely leave you surprised. These two are an entire experience on their own 🌟 🍔 If you want something quick, casual, or flexible: 🍱 The Galley – This one is for the girls that crave a burger with a piece of sushi on the side . Because same 😅. They have endless options here so it’s the perfect place to go when you’re feeling indecisive. They also have ready made grab and go boxes (I loved the turkey sandwich) 🍣 Sun Club Café – Fresh poke bowls for when you’re trying to be cute by the pool but still need to eat every 2 hours. Argue with somebody else, I’m on vacation. 🛎 Room Service – If being horizontal while eating is your love language, this one is for you. They offer a surprisingly solid menu for when you don’t want to leave your cabin and it’s available all day! 💎 If you love a hidden gem: Opa Hour – Limited-time Greek bites. Basically a mini treasure hunt—check your schedule so you don’t miss it because these were some of my favorite dishes. ‼️Save this post for your next sailing (with Virgin Voyages). You can thank me later 😘 #virginvoyages #foodietiktok #cruiseship #brilliantcreatorstakemia
We love to travel, and we love having options, so consider this your birthday gift from me to you 🤗 I travel for mine every year, so I put together 10 warm places I’d recommend, with ideas for what to do and where I’d go in each. 👀 Not a Sag but just trying to get away from the cold? Fine you’re welcome too 😂 And because narrowing it down to 10 was hard, Saint Martin and Saint Lucia deserve an honorable mention 💯 ✅ Save this for your birthday planning, send it to another Sag, and follow me for more travel ideas. How are you spending your birthday this year? TBH I’m still figuring out mine 😂 #sagittarius #traveldestinations #vacations #creatorsearchinsights
Save this for a relaxing Greek island getaway that’s close enough to add to Athens, but dreamy enough to become the whole trip 😍 Hydra gives you stone mansions, the blue doors spilling down toward the harbor, waterfront dining, deep blue swimming coves, beautiful coastal walks and that rare feeling that nothing is rushing you. And it’s super easy to add to a Greece itinerary: 📍You may also see Hydra written as Idra or Ydra. They all refer to the same island, written Ύδρα in Greek and pronounced roughly “EE-thra,” while Hydra is the spelling most commonly used in English. ⛴️ From Athens: Take a direct ferry from Piraeus. Depending on the ferry and number of stops, the ride takes approximately 1-2 hours. 🚤 From the Peloponnese: The easiest option is to drive to Metochi, leave your car near the port and take the approximately 20 minute passenger boat to Hydra. If Metochi doesn’t fit your route, ferries also depart from Ermioni and Porto Heli. 🏝️ Island hopping: Hydra has direct ferry connections to Poros and Spetses, making it easy to include all three in one trip for some proper island hopping. I went to Spetses after leaving Hydra. 🛏️ Where to stay: Hydra Town is the most convenient option for a first visit because you’ll be close to the ferry, restaurants, shops and water taxis. Kamini or Vlychos were recommended for something quieter, but I was trekking around with two luggages full of olive oil so I just wanted the easiest and closest spot to the port. 🏊🏽 Where to swim: Spilia and Hydronetta are close to town, but there are also boats and water taxis to take you to even better spots. You can also find a few beach clubs and restaurants with good swimming spots. Water taxis leave from the main harbor and can take you to places like Vlychos, Bisti and Agios Nikolaos, while shared beach boats offer a more affordable option on scheduled routes. 👟 Getting around: I explored mainly on foot because I was determined to get my steps in and explore at my leisure. Hydra Town and the nearby neighborhoods are easy to walk, although you can expect plenty of hills, stone paths and stairs. You can also book a horseback riding experience to see more of the island. Hydra is about 19 square miles with roughly 30+ miles of coastline, so don’t expect to explore the entire island on foot. ☀️ When to go: May, June, September and October give you warm weather with fewer people than peak summer. The island kind of shuts down for winter so start planning. 🧳 Travel Tips: Hydra is car free for visitors, so pack light and check how many stairs are between the harbor and your accommodation. Horses can be arranged to help with luggage. ⏰Although this is a day trip destination for a lot of people, I would stay longer. I recommend m 2-3 nights if you really want to settle in and relax. ✅ Save this for your Greece planning and send it to the person you’d run away to a Greek island with 💛 Thank you to everyone who gave me their recommendations and helped me find my way here 👀 When’s the last time you really slowed down in purpose? #hydragreece #greekislands #greecetravel #solotravel #travelguide
Coffee date turned upside down. Still processing this one 😅 I’m not holding anything against the girl that brought me here, because she was right…I definitely found this interesting. But let’s be honest, dark tourism was DEFINITELY not on the itinerary when I agreed to go for coffee. And like any normal person, there’s nothing that could’ve prepared me to casually walk into a room decorated with actual human remains 😳 📍This is the San Bernardino alle Ossa in Milan, Italy and apparently its history goes allllll the way back to the 1200s. ⛪️ To be clear, this isn’t a museum…It’s still very much a regular active church….and the ossuary is attached. But crazy to think you can actually attend Mass just steps away. 😞 Besides just being there, I think the part I’m still stuck on is that I left knowing basically nothing about the people whose literal bones I had just been looking at. Why did I have to go home and research all of that myself? 💭 Maybe expecting to know exactly who people were after this many centuries isn’t realistic. But standing there looking at their remains without knowing anything about the lives they belonged to just didn’t sit right with me. Am I overthinking it? What do y’all think? 🤔 Travel Tips If you plan to visit: 🚶🏽♀️It’s less than .5 miles from the Duomo 🎟️ There’s no admission fee since this is an active place of worship, but you can leave an offering ⛪ Sunday Mass is held in Sri Lankan and weekday Mass in English 🚫 The ossuary/bone chapel is closed on Sundays 👚I’d treat it like any other functioning Catholic church when it comes to dress and behavior ⏰ Check current opening and Mass times before visiting since schedules can change #milan #italy #italytravel #darktourism #storytime
