🎀 October hits differently when you’ve actually fought breast cancer. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m not just wearing pink — I AM the story behind the ribbon. 💗 I know what it feels like to hear the words “You have breast cancer.” I know the fear, the tears, the doctor visits, the chemo, losing my hair, watching my body change, and finding strength on days when I didn’t feel strong at all. There were moments that tried to break me, but my faith kept reminding me that my story wasn’t over. 🙏🏾 Today, I stand with a deeper appreciation for life, a stronger love for myself, and a heart for every woman still fighting, every survivor rebuilding, and every family remembering someone they lost. Breast cancer changed me — but it did not take me from me. This month, I honor the woman I was before cancer, the woman who fought through it, and the woman I’m becoming after it. 🎀💪🏾 Check your breasts. Know your body. Get your screenings.
