I just had to take a moment to vibe and give gratitude because today was such a GOOD first day of school! 🥹✨ The energy was everything as we welcomed our new 7th graders and saw so many of our returning 8th graders smiling, waving, and looking genuinely excited to be back. 🥰 Being around the kids again just pumps me up! There’s something about that first-day energy that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. ❤️ Here’s to making this the BEST school year yet! Let’s go, 2026–2027! 🎉📚✨ #FirstDayOfSchool #teachertok #middleschoolteacher #7thGradeTeacher #teacherlife

I’m not sharing because it’s anything new or out of this world but I’m sharing because we don’t keep it and when I was a new teacher I just wanted to see what other people were doing. I also made seating charts way earlier this school year than I have in the past and it’s honestly something I wish I would’ve done years ago. In years prior, I figured I’d let them sit wherever they want just so I can see who they talk to, but honestly, you can see who they’re talking to just by looking at who they’re lined up next to outside your door. So far, it’s been a great start to the school year and I hope you guys are feeling the same way! ##teacher##middleschoolteacher##science##scienceteacher##teachersoftiktok
