◐ CITY OF SHADOWS: Underground Voyager 🪨 A slow descent into the yellow light beneath the city. Station architecture, shadows, concrete, glass, and silence. I’ve always been drawn to these places. They feel like the hidden arteries of a city spaces people move through without ever really seeing.

RELOAD ⛽︎ // 13: DEVIL’S DANCE The final entry. I’m closing the Reload series by paying tribute to the one and only, Jason Newsted, a hero of mine and a huge source of inspiration. I’m currently on the road with no studio and, apparently, no microphone stand either, so we kept things suitably professional. I borrowed my dad’s 18th-century cello, played it like a bass and, as mothers do, mine stood behind a wall holding the microphone for the entire take. 😄 Turns out this really is a family business. 😆 This is “Devil’s Dance” bass riff intro, a riff that shook my whole world as a teenager. For Jason. 🤘@metallica #GetTheReLoadOut #Metallica #DevilsDance #JasonNewsted
