There was a time when I wondered if being a mom would ever be part of my story. Living with PCOS brought so much uncertainty, and the thought of never having a baby of my own hurt in a way I couldn’t always put into words. I wanted to believe it would happen for me, but sometimes the fear was louder than the hope. Now I look at my daughter, and I still have moments when I think, “I really get to be your mommy.” 🥹🤍 I get to hold your little hands, kiss your cheeks, learn all your little sounds, and watch you grow. Things I once worried I would never experience are now part of my everyday life. El you will grow up knowing how deeply you are loved. But I don’t know if words will ever fully explain what it means to have you here. Even on the exhausting days, when I’m learning as I go and wondering if I’m doing everything right, I am so grateful to be your mama. I don’t have to pretend motherhood is easy to know how precious it is. Thank You, God, for my daughter. Thank You for the chance to love her, care for her, and be the arms she feels safe in. I pray that I can guide her with patience, raise her with love, and always remind her how much she matters. To anyone living with PCOS and quietly wondering whether motherhood will happen for them: I know that uncertainty can hurt. Everyone’s journey is different, and I’m sharing mine with tenderness for yours. Your feelings deserve space, and you don’t have to pretend to be strong every day. My sweet girl, I once wondered if I would ever hear someone call me “Mommy.” Now I get to spend my life answering to you. 🤍
