November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month, aka Take Home an Old Angel for Free Month. 😇 🐈 Kitty LeAnne has been with us since November 2021, making her our longest resident. This stunning 13-year-old girl, with her captivating green eyes and soft ginger coat, has faced more than her share of challenges. 😿 Living in a shelter for so long has been stressful for her, and she’s begun to overgroom, leaving small bald patches in her fur. She’s currently on Prozac to help manage the stress, but what she truly needs is a calm, loving home — the best medicine of all. Kitty LeAnne also has Megacolon (constipation). She requires a special diet of Gastro Biome food with a bit of Metamucil for extra fiber. Don’t worry — SOCKS will provide her food and supplies to ensure her continued comfort and care. This lovely girl enjoys gentle affection and will happily lounge beside you while you read or work. She does have moments of sass and may swat when she doesn’t want to be touched. We believe this stems from trauma she endured after her previous owner passed away, leaving her alone in a deteriorating trailer until she was rescued. 💔 But beneath her tough exterior is a sweet soul who loves treats and wants to feel safe. With a patient and understanding family who appreciates her quirks, Kitty LeAnne has so much love to give — and so much potential to thrive. 🩷 If you’re looking for a unique companion with personality, charm, and a little bit of spice, Kitty LeAnne may be the perfect match for you.
