Growing up in a Jamaican household I grew up with these Jamaican sodas and Patties. As an adult with a background in nutrition and food science, pairing the flavors of the Jamaican sodas we grew up with made a lot of sense with different varieties of our family's Caribbean Food Delights Jamaican Patties. The first pairing is Ting with the classic spicy beef patty. Citrusy, tart and sweet goes well with rich, spicy flavors of the Jamaican Spicy Beef Patty. #jamaicanfood #jamaicanpatty #ting

Pairing Jamaican Patties with Jamaican Soda. Our Jamaican Curry chicken Patties naturally pairs well with the pineapple soda due to the sweetness and acidity in the pineapple which complements the warm spices in the curry. #jamaicanpatty #pineapplesoda #jamaicanfood #jamaicansoda #caribbeanfooddelights

I was not prepared for Warwick's level of Halloween commitment. We started the day with Caribbean Food Delights and Rockland Business Women's Network at the inaugural To Infinity & Beyond Halloween 5K. Then it was family time in Warwick, where the huge community IS the parade. We walked down main street and landed on a Streets that goes above and beyond for Halloween. Kids were lined up at houses waiting for candy. Actual lines. I kept thinking they should have a candy monster donation bin at the police station and drop off bags to each house that participates. Between the 5k organizers, the parade, and the people opening their front doors to all those kids, a lot of people put effort into making today special for everyone else. I got to spend it with people from work, RBWN, and my family. A full day in every sense. Warwick Halloween was WILD. A must see. This should be a tourist destination on Halloween. Does your town go this big for Halloween? #Halloween #WarwickNY #Community #RBWN #5k
