Thank You, Lord. Thank you, Nine. 🙏🏻❤️ I’m fully aware of phishing scams, and I always remind myself to be careful—but despite knowing all of that, I still became a victim. Yesterday, my BPI account was compromised after I clicked a link and entered my details on the website it directed me to. It was my mistake, and honestly, it’s a painful reminder that no matter how careful or knowledgeable we think we are, we can still make one wrong click. What I’m most grateful for is that, hindi nakuha lahat nang laman ng nasa bank ko at nalock ko agad. Thank God I had a limit on my InstaPay transfers. I can’t even imagine what could have happened if there were no limits in place. 🙏🏻 I wasn’t as emotional as I thought I would be when I realized I had been scammed. Maybe I was still in shock, or maybe, somehow, I had this quiet feeling that everything would eventually be okay. Looking back, I can only say, grabe gumalaw si Lord, kaya ganyan ako naging ka-emotional after that drop 😭 He really protected me in ways I didn’t immediately understand. Of course, this experience taught me a very important lesson. Knowing about scams is not enough. We have to remain cautious every single time, especially now that scammers and hackers are becoming more convincing and creative. They know how to make things look legitimate, urgent, and believable. So please, please be careful online. 🙏🏻 Think before you click. Double-check the sender, the link, and the website. Never enter your banking details, passwords, OTPs, or other sensitive information just because a message looks official. When in doubt, stop and verify through the bank’s official channels. We work so hard for our money. Our savings represent countless hours of work, sacrifices, and responsibilities. It can all disappear in just one careless click. I’m sharing this not to shame myself or anyone who has experienced the same thing, but as a reminder that it can happen to anyone. If this post can help even one person pause before clicking a suspicious link, then sharing my experience is worth it. I’m still processing everything, but above all, I choose to be grateful. Thank You, Lord, for protecting what You could, for giving me people who helped me, and for reminding me that even in a scary situation, I am never alone. Salamat din sa naghelp sakin that night na makatawag sa BPI to make sure na locked yung account ko at sa inyong lahat na dumamay at nagpalakas ng loob ko na okay lang, mababalik to ni Lord!! 🤞🏻🙏🏼 Stay safe, everyone. Be vigilant. Think before you click. And when something feels suspicious, trust that instinct and verify first. 🙏🏻❤️ Thank You, Lord. Thank you, Nine. Truly, grabe gumalaw si Lord. 😭🙏🏻❤️ #phishingawareness #tiktoklive #scam #hacker #tiktokuniverse
