On Wednesday 24th July 2024 at 28yo, I was incidentally diagnosed with a Meningioma Brain Tumour measuring at approximately 4cm X 4cm, roughly the size of a gob stopper… Life changed forever once I really understood this meant for me🧠 Originally we were just doing additional Contrast MRI’s to further investigate my 2.5yo Spinal injury & herniated discs after 3 failed treatments but stumbled upon this tumour… A blessing in disguise✨ I underwent a 4hr Brain surgery on Wednesday 9th October 2024 knowing all the risks, but also knowing that surgery is my only option before things got worse over the years.💉 I had a few of the “minor” symptoms prior to my diagnosis but nothing that I ever thought were super alarming or needed to look into medical advise for. After my Brain surgery, unfortunately I have been dealing with some side effects such as speech impairment (dysarthria), constant tingling on my right hand middle finger tip & episodes of numbness to the right side of my face & my hand.
