RILEY — A826449 💙 Riley is only 1½ years old, but this sweet girl has already endured far too much. She is a 34-pound brindle-and-white Shepherd blend currently at San Antonio ACS in kennel S3016. Riley is frightened by the shelter environment and trembles when taken outside, sometimes needing to be carried. Yet through all that fear, she still approaches people and passing dogs with a loose body, gentle paws, and a wagging tail. Riley is also suffering from significant hair loss across much of her body. The cause may be fleas, demodex, or another skin condition, but one thing is certain—she needs a safe place where she can receive care, decompress, and finally begin to heal. Staff describes Riley as very sweet and social. There is a loving little dog beneath the fear who wants to trust. She simply needs someone patient enough to show her that she is safe. Please share, repost, foster, or adopt. Every set of eyes could help Riley reach the person meant to save her. 📍 San Antonio ACS — Kennel S3016 🐾 1½-year-old female Shepherd blend ⚖️ 34.2 pounds 🩺 Heartworm testing pending Out-of-state adoption and transportation may be available through Paws Saving Paws.
