The night I proposed to my girl… and absolutely NOTHING went according to plan. Our car broke down that day, but I wasn’t about to let a little bad luck stop me. I was proposing NO MATTER WHAT. So I took my plan to our house and decided the kitchen was the perfect spot. It was supposed to happen at her mom's after family dinner, but life got in the way. I tried to play it off like I was doing some random “Facebook challenge” and called her into the kitchen… but the second I did, she saw straight through my BS. She knew EXACTLY what was happening. And somehow, even on the biggest night of my life, I still found a way to have Elvis involved. Of course I’m wearing my Elvis Presley In Concert shirt. Because no matter what’s going on, I’m ALWAYS gonna find a way to work Elvis into it. The plans may have fallen apart, the car may have broken down, and she may have figured me out immediately, but I still got down on one knee and got to ask the woman I love to spend forever with me. She said YES. And that’s all that mattered. ❤️ @holliewyatt #elvispresleyfans #elvis #elvispresleymusic #elvismovie #elvisaaronpresley
