✍️ 'Agatha Christie on acid!' 📖 The prettiest villages make the best hiding places, and Nettleacre is hiding more than most. Anna Wilde has created an unusual refuge for frightened locals: leave a note in the letterbox of her grand Sussex home, and she and her two closest friends investigate the crimes Nettleacre prefers to ignore. It's an unlikely partnership — glamour, magic, and old-fashioned police work — but it works. Until the notes begin pointing to women who have vanished. Women who are lonely, vulnerable, and far too easy for the village to overlook. Soon, the trail leads Anna, Lily, and Sadie to a respected local with something to hide, and to two new arrivals with dangerous pasts: one a charming stranger with a killer’s past, the other a crime boss looking for redemption. This is bigger than three women and a letterbox. As the case draws in a secret Mayfair crime unit and entities from the skies above, the three women must learn who to trust among the living, the dead, and everything in between. Because if they fail, Nettleacre will add another missing woman to its list of secrets. READERS ‘I devoured this’ ‘Cunningham is hitting all my faves in one fell swoop, and isn’t that amazing? It is. It is, because she also does it so well. Fast-paced, with an excellent rhythm and funny to boot. Plus, she doesn’t pull any punches. I’m in lit heaven. I’ll be checking anything else Cunningham wants to throw my way, no questions asked. Wow. 5*’ ‘Reminds me of real-life true crime’ 'Unlike anything I had read before, in a good way!' 'Be warned: this book is incredibly addictive! Once you start, you'll want to get your hands on the entire series. I absolutely loved everything about this book—Highly recommend.' 'Crimella truly shines. The crimes are serious but the humour, cheeky dialogue, and playful energy balance it out perfectly. There is romance, spice. One of the highlights is Anna, a woman in her 50s who is confident, desirable, and fierce, proving that strong and sexy characters are not limited by age' ‘Immediately tells you it's not going to follow the usual rules' ''Loved book 2, and what an ending! Need book 3 please!'' ‘The action, lovable cast, and gorgeous English setting make it stand out' ‘Mystery filled with dark secrets that kept me entertained from start to finish’ 'Loved this, It was original. It pulled me in and had me playing detective lol. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. Really enjoyed this' ‘What’s brilliant is it mashes up cosy countryside vibes with supernatural shenanigans and great quick-witted chatter' ‘Unusual twists, playful cast, that feels fresh and different from typical mystery.' 'It’s light, funny, the characters interesting and likeable, I especially loved the “sky helpers” element—it adds a unique twist. The mystery is handled by amateur sleuths rather than the usual police/CID setup' 'Bold, sarcastic, flirty, and chaotic, the banter keeps the story lively even when the subject matter turns dark. A strong found family feeling, where loyalty and protection matter deeply.' 'Fresh, fun, and unpredictable. It mixes cosy village vibes with true crime elements, paranormal twists, and laugh out loud moments. If you enjoy intrigue, dark secrets, and unforgettable characters, this book is an entertaining ride from start to finish’ KINDLE UNLIMITED https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F99VPYDK https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0F99VPYDK #bookrecommendations #newbookrecs #romantasybooktok #booktoscreenadaption #detectiveseries #romantasy #amateursleuth #crimella#newbookrelease #newbooks #englishcountryside #britishcountryside #britishauthor #booktok #booksuggestions #sccunningham #bookshelf #booktoscreen #newbook #bookish

THE PENANCE LIST book review – kindle unlimited   ‘’Absolutely amazing. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was getting into with this one. But seven I got into it, I didn’t want to get out. This book is dark and thrilling. It delves into a world you normally wouldn’t go beat, but you can’t help but want to be there. It was just an absolute amazing read. I didn’t want to put this down once I got started. I can’t wait to dive into the next one. 5⭐️’’ SSirren.
