There’s a number in my phone I’ll never delete. Not because I think you’ll answer… but because deleting it would feel like letting go of another piece of you. October 17, 2014. The day the world kept moving, but mine changed forever. I’d give anything to hear, “Hey sweetie,” just one more time. To tell you about my life. How I had all boys just like I always talked about. To tell you I don’t sleep in past 10am now, that I hardly stay up past 9pm. To have you meet my husband. We just started dating when you died. To hear you say “umm yellow” when answering the phone. Your number is still there, quietly reminding me that love doesn’t end when someone is gone. I don’t call it anymore… but I’ll never be able to delete it. Miss you every single day, Grampy. 🤍 #forevergriefing #stillmissingyou

POV: You worked your whole career to become an OR Supervisor just to realize your main job is professional problem solver, staffing Tetris champion, equipment detective, PTO negotiator, and the person everyone asks for when they don’t like the answer. 😂 But hey… living the dream. 🫠🏥🔪 #ORSupervisor #OperatingRoomLife #ORLife #NurseHumor #NursingHumor
